assalam alaikum wa rahmatullah..
jazakAllah khair to the sheikh and to all those behind making htis video…subhaanAllah ,very nicely put.may Allah make us all of those who are always obedient and submissive to HIM at every moment..and give us the sabr that is needed for seeking HIS pleasure at times of afflictions and trial.Alhamdolillah ala kulli shaiy’in YA RABBANA.
With his talk he opened up a whole new cosmos for ppl who can connect his talk to very specific Ayats and to specific words of scholars. He made it very simple, he could make iteven much more complicated. In this video is wisdom open and hidden. I watched this video in the series of three days I still cannot stop but connect Ayats to it.
Whoa! Alhamdullilah. You just blew my mind. We are going through some hard times currently and this speech fit perfectly into what we needed. thanks so much and mashALLAH you have a wonderful way of conveying your points. May Allah allow you to spread your knowledge to the masses.
Salaam u alaikum wa rahmatullah
Alhumdulillah, very simple but powerful lecture which had alot of deep meaning, jazakulla khair for putting it up. I have a question though particularly one adhkar brother Hassan instructed in his talk and that was la ilaha illallah al haqul mobeen 100x, if you don’t mind can you inform us what is the reference to this because I can’t find any. Also, is there a way that I can download this lecture to my ipad, if so please let me know, jazakulla khair.
assalam alaikum wa rahmatullah,
jazakAllah khair for putting up the question of the adhkar ..even i would like to know the source .please confirm .better to make sure we are doing the sunnah than to unknowingly do something which would be (naudhobillah)bid’ah..may Allah Subhaanahu protect us frm that ameen.
wow. i really liked that. thanks for sharing.
Why does good things happen to bad people? why is good not rewarded with good and bad rewarded with punishment? why does a muslim who messes about get better things then one who doesnt?. i dont deny the existence of Allah, Allah is here then why are my prayers never answered. i spent 7/8 years of my life learning the quran becoming hafiz studying the deen then why am i not happy?
Asalaam Alaikum
What you said, is like that of the man who made du’a for 20 years, also what you ask from Allah (swt) is not always the blessing he gives you. Also sincerity, and patience are unbelievebly important when making du’as, Your have to believe that they will get answered for them to happen.
Not soo religious ppl get alot of pleasures and success at times, ie, the best jobs. Those things are not always blessings, their tests, as to how that person handles those things. Usually ppl fail and become less humble, Don’t think Allah (swt) is punishing you, there is a reason and a test behind everything in life, so DON’T DON’T like the scholar said in the lecture give up on du’a, its one of your strongest channels to Allah (swt) along with salat, which is number 1.
Giving up on Allah (swt) and his mercy is harem in itself.

I went through the same thing…..sometimes we expect things to happen. We pray, serve God, follow the commandments, attend masjid/church daily expecting good things to happen to us. When something bad happens its like a piano dropping on you crushing you. We don’t expect the bad because we are too busy focusing on that ‘good’ thing to happen.
This video won’t continue after teh first 5min!any idea how to make it work?
This lecture was truly enlightening! I’m goin through some difficulty with my patience(sabr)! Shukran for this thought provoking lecture! May the Almighty increase us in sabr! Keep us in all your duas!
Truly enlightening, I was in tears through it. JazakAllah khairan. May Allah reward the Shaykh and bless his family.
Mashallah, Woooow.
This lecture is soo deep, may Allah (swt) grant Brother Hassan Elwan, happiness and success for him and his family, inshallah.
I found it soo helpful, and soo thought provoking.

May Allah preserve the Shaykh and increase him in status Ameen. That was just beautiful!
