jazakullahukhayr, this is some good stuff!
Imam Suhaib,
May Allah BLESS YOU 1,000 x's over. This is what I needed.
I look forward to meeting up with you this coming summer in the DC area.
I did want to ask if you intend to start or join an islamic institution (e.g. zaytuna, sunni path, al maghrib, islamic american university) upon your return to the U.S.
Baarakallahu feek,
Kaleem
Asalam alaykum,
Imam Suhaib is currently an Al-Maghrib instructer to the best of my knowledge.
Last summer he taught Sacred Scrolls (Imam Nawawi's 40 hadith collection) alongside Yasir Qadhi….It was truly an amazing experience….
(even though Qabelat Nurayn only had him for the sunday).
Question: Imam Suhaib, are you going to be teaching any al-maghrib courses this summer (or any time soon) inshallah?
Jazakhallah khairan
THANK YOU SHEIKH!!!
Please come to UAE !!!
AAWRWB
Imam Suhaib,
Do you know where in the states I could purchase matn al ashmawiyya? I would like to follow along with you during the course of your lectures. Do you know of any websites that would have a downloadable version. I've found a website that have a number of maliki text translated into English and Spanish. There are even some in the original arabic.

Asalamu alaykum,
We have plans to offer a full time free Azhari type institue here at this site this summer. Every night, inshallah, there will be a dars by a qualifed scholar. Yes, I still teach with al-Maghrib and plan to teach a course with them next fall.

Mashallah… good news! I can't wait… and the best part of it (for students on a tight budget like myself) is its FREE!
Great stuff.
Sallam,
Jazak Allah Khar B Suhaib…when you mentioned the “Azhari type institute”, is this taking place in California or Egypt?

It's happening on suhaibwebb.com
Does blood not break wudhu as well?
Asalamu alaykum,
No.
No

As far as I know bleeding that oozes only breaks wudu for Hanafis.
As-salaamualaykum wa rahmatullah.
Are most Egyptians Maikis? Or do they follow many different madhahib there?
Asalamu alaykum,
A large portion of the Egyptian is Shafi. Most in the south are Maliki.

To download, right click the “download” link and click “Save link as” or “Download File as” (or something to that extent). It will then start downloading the file to your computer.

As-salam alaykum wa rahmatullah
May Allah bless our ustadh and give him success in teaching these texts and others (including the current lessons on Risala al-mustarshidin). May Allah bless him with good for such noble efforts. Alhamdulillah.
This lesson, the one on usul al-fiqh and the classes on Risala al-mustarshidin have been wonderful. Long may they continue with tawfiq.

AAWRWB,
I used to live in Kuwait, which has a LARGE population of Egyptians, and number of them followed the madhab based on the region they came from. Those that I met that were from the south of Egypt followed the Maliki school, while the Cairenes followed the Shafi'i school and the one up North in Alexandria, followed the Hanafi school. A large number I met inclined towards the salafi interpretation.
That's just my experience in dealing with Egyptians in Kuwait. I could be wrong.
AAWRWB,
May Allah Bless bro. Zubair for providing the means for this to happen.
Much love brotha!
Kaleem
asalamualaykum
great news! when can we hear more about the classes?
jazakallah, Allah give you strength

Within a few weeks inshaAllah.
Assalamu alaykum WR WB,
For those of us who will not be able to come to your Institute, will it also be available in a recorded format. If not, that is understandable, Alhumdulillah, since Allah is providing us much ilm through you and this website. Jazakallah khair.
