Treasures of The Qur’an and Sunna: April 11th-12th Boston University with Suhaib Webb

The Muslim American Society Boston Chapter is pleased to invite you to connect with the “Treasures of the Quran & Sunnah”, a two day seminar taught by Imam Suhaib Webb!

Come discover how to connect with the Quran and Sunnah and explore the relationship between these mutually blessed foundations of Islam.

The seminar will take place on Saturday April 12th and Sunday April 13th at Boston University. The program will run from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm on both days. The program will cover the following topics inshaAllah:

Day 1: Connecting with the Quran
- How to establish a relationship with the Quran.
- How to approach the Quran
- How develop an ability to understand the Quran {tools needed for Qur’anic Literacy}

Day 2: Connecting with the Sunnah
- How to establish a relationship with the Sunnah
- Status of the Sunnah
- Tools Needed for Sunnic Literacy

Imam Suhaib Webb was born in 1972 and raised in the State of Oklahoma, USA. During his teens, he became a Hip Hop DJ and made many records with different artists and bands. Imam Suhaib Webb converted to Islam at the age of 20. He completed his degree in Elementary Education and served as Imam for the Islam Society of Greater Oklahoma City. He moved to the Bay Area and is currently in his second year of studies at Al-Azhar University in Cairo. While in the United States, Imam Suhaib works with MAS at many local and national levels.     Assalamualaikum,
    I was just wondering why all of these seminars and what not are only advertised a week before they are to take place? It basically leaves anyone from out of town who can’t afford a ticket for like $500 out in the cold. Seems like these seminars only want participation of MAS members only.

  3. We are more than thankful, for the time your time and effort.(always) says:

    He is a father, a husband,
    He is a student, a teacher
    He is coming from overseas

    May be this is his spring break
    May be he is taking time off from his busy schedule

    He could be utilizing this time with his family.
    He could use this time to take a break from books and assignments,
    He could use this time to study and prepare for his next assignments/exams

    But he choose to put all that aside.
    Fly all the way.
    And spare his short break to come share some of the knowledge of our deen.

    May Allah SWT make your journey safe
    May Allah SWT give you extra strength and protect you.

    It’s not easy to travel from continent to continent
    It’s not easy to travel from city to city.
    It’s not easy to do all the preparation needed to conduct these speeches.

    May Allah swt make it easy for your
    May Allah swt reward you for your good effort.

    We are thankful and happy for those who will be able to attend.
    And for those who cannot attend, we pray to Allah swt to provide then/us with many more opportunities to come.
