We ask Allah to grant us tawfiq to make the most of this special time.

Ramadan Mubarak Everyone!!! Ramadan Murarak Sheikh Webb!! Let’s get these good deeds baby!!!
SubahanAllah! I couldn’t sleep so I started reading, and I looked outside the window and see light flashes…initially I was so into the reading that I ignored them. Then it caught my attention. There were light flashes, but no lightning, thunder, rain, etc. The stars were also incredibly bright. I am not sure what to make of it, so I woke up my brother (hes off tomorrow morning). He was amazed by what he saw as well. I have never seen the sky like this. I would be elated to know what it was that I saw and continue to see as I type this and look outside of my window.
In August the Earth passes through a meteor shower. Maybe you saw those amazing meteors. SubhanAllah! What a beautiful way to start Ramadan.
The flashes… reminded of two things:
- Either the Shiabin thaqib mentioned in surah fussilat (but I dismmed it…).
- Or the hadith you mentioned:
“When Ramadan comes, the doors of Paradise are opened and the doors of Hell are closed.”
