Asalaam Alaikum,

Jazak'Allah for this, a very beautiful and remindful post. The first paragraph reminded me of a talk by Sheikh Muhammad al-Yaqoobi, which deals with this subject, I would definitely recommend it:

Assalamu Alaykum

This was a really good reminder of loving the Prophet (S). I say this for myself first and foremost, but it is impossible to love Allah (SWT) without also loving his messenger. A lot of us want to memorize the Qu'ran, which is good, but we should also spend some time memorizing the hadith of the Prophet (S) and practice his sunnah in addition to reading the Qu'ran.

The book you want for this is Riyadh us Saliheen.

'Do we even ask to see the Prophet sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam in our dreams?'

SubhanAllah, this is exactly what I used to ask for all the time.

MashaAllah, A beautiful post sister.

I would like to share something which I found to be among the most beneficial things I've been taught since becoming a Muslim-

The greatest emulation of the Sunnah of the Prophet, salAllahu alaihi wasallam, is the adoption of his blessed inward states, such as fear of none but Allah, humility, sincerity of intention, loving and hating only for Allah.
Achieving these while ridding oneself of the haram inward traits, such as greed, arrogance, miserliness, treachery etc is to become a true Muslim and a true follower of the Prophet Muhammad, salAllahu alaihi wasallam and is the most beautiful way of expressing our love for him and what he brought.
