Your Daily Dose: 7th Juz
Once a brother came, in a rude fashion, saying “What is your `Aqidah (Islamic creed)!?”
I responded, “Surat al-Fatiha!”
Then, he said, “And?”
I responded, “Surat al-Ikhlas!”
He responded, “And?”
I said, “the hadith of Jibrael (Gabriel).”
He responded, “And?”
I responded, “Surat al-An’am!”
He responded, “And?”
I said, “That is enough for anyone seeking to be guided. Please, leave me alone!”
The six chapter of the Qur’an is amazing.
A juz is a part of the Qur’an. The Qur’an is divided into 30 parts (juz). The 7th juz of the Qur’an is from5:82-6:110.

Suratul An’am, after Nisa and Ma’idah, really hits you hard! You can feel that it is a makki surah, it’s so powerful. I love the story of Ibrahim alayhi salaam in this surah.
Verses 1, 2, 5, 7 , 8 , 11, 10 , 35 ,51,54,57, 87, 90 94,95,101,104,105,
All start by “ Oh ye who believe “…..
Ibn abi hatim recorded that a man come to Abdullah bin masud and asked him for advice
He then told him “when you hear the statement of Allah …Oh ye who believe
Pay attention for its righteous matter than he is ordering or an evil thing that is forbidden “
Word, Imma have to use this next time I run into the brothers from the Minhaj they always end up punking me
my ayah of reflection was:
And if Allah should touch you with adversity, there is no remover of it except Him. And if He touches you with good – then He is over all things competent.
We all should think that if we have any problem, spiritually, physically and mentally that effect us then only allah can cure it, remove it,so we should only turn to Him.
