Assalamu alaykum Shaykh Suhaib.
I had a couple of questions about the surah. I was wondering, first and foremost, what kind of food the Prophet (S)took to Cave Hira when he would retreat there to contemplate about society. Was it or did it include olives and figs?
Also, could the “Mountain of Blessings” possibly refer also to Cave Hira or the mountain in which cave hira was?
Finally, in what circumstance was this surah revealed? Why was it revealed? What was going on in the time of the Prophet (S) that would prompt Allah to reveal such a surah?
Assalamu alaykum
Brother
