Thank you for this. One thing I’d like to point out: It’s very tiresome to hear children crying or screaming every time one listens to an Islamic scholar talking on tv or internet. Think we should spread this message among Muslim communities, to remind them that this culture we are building of always, without fail, having at least one child provide background noise is not something many appreciate.
Sister I do not have children myself but I would point out that the Masjid is all about building a community, and children should not be excluded from this – I love hearing children in such talks because they are in the best environment for them.
Is there a book about Khadijah you may recomend?
Thanks
Carmen Figueroa
Bismillah wa mashallah, may allah bless you, your tongue and all the tongues that inform us and teach us about our beloved prophet Muhammad (PBUM). Thank you for the beautiful speech I loved every second.
Too much noise of child crying recorded.
Can’t appreciate that .
Very good info in detail . God bless him .
Subhanallah! That was beautiful! Jazak Allah Khair, I am so appreciative of your words and this site for spreading the message and beauty of Islam.
Khadijah, may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon her, is one of the most inspiring people in my life. Her story and this khutbah means a lot to me. Dedicated Muslimah, intellectual, professional and spouse.
I just love her.
