I'm very happy to see that these events are getting publicity, SubhanAllah! And that they are well-received by the youth! I think that maybe this is the first in Malaysia. Its quite hard to talk about Islam in the open & to interest the mass….. Many thanks to the organizers, and Br. Muhammad, Hamza, Abdur Raheem and Br. Suhaib for taking their time and traveling all the way to Malaysia just to share with us their knowledge. May Allah reward you for your effort.

Your talks got me thinking…mashaAllah. What resonated with me, from your talks Br. Suhaib is that we Muslims need to show more KINDNESS, MERCY & COMPASSION..to others & to each other. Being harsh will only push others away from the Deen. And the importance of the internalization of knowledge through ADAB. Many of us tend to forget that. InshaAllah, I will remember this & act on it for as long as I live, by Allah's Mercy.

So please show kindness & respect to each other. Much love to all brothers & sisters

You appearance on TV that day made a difference to the Malaysian society who are English speaking, and are not Muslims. Please do not be influenced by people who are concerned with judging people, who speak without knowledge and understanding of what's happening in Malaysia. We want you to know that Malaysians welcome you with open arms and you have been a good example for us.

May Allah reward you better, and may Allah have mercy upon the hearts of our brothers and sisters who have been misguided by their passion to correct others.

When will you be back in Malaysia??? Durian, Roti Canai & Sambal !!!! hahahhaa…

SubhanAllah….The 2 Imams are doing such great work for the community and all we can do is criticize…..SubhanAllah, it hurts to see us in this situation. Even in our day-to-day lives, we encounter men and women in non-islamic dress codes…..everywhere..on the streets, on the T.V …all we can do is lower our gaze as the 2 Imams are doing in this video.

Again, i am not a regular in commenting, however, i could not stand these accusations and had to speak up. May Allah guide us all on the right path. May Allah bestow his blessings on the Sheikhs who are trying their best to help our community. May Allah give them the courage and patience to stand such accusations.

PS: I was strayed and occupied by my Job that i did not even get time for Salat…..Alhamdulillah, I watched Suhaib Webb's videos on YouTube and Allah gave me hidayah to pray and I am trying my best to be a better Muslim.

And if you claim that you were simply criticizing Imam Suhaib and not the woman, did you think for a second that the woman might read this site?! Second: did you even give one or two excuses to Imam Suhaib, let alone 70 of them?

The one who pointed the finger at Imam Suhaib needs to look at the four fingers point back at himself/herself, because they are pointing to his/her heart, which is full of pride and arrogance.

One thing we try to be around is be brotherly. Inshallah, in the future you could use your real name and open with salam as it is a great source of ajar. As al-Sheikh Abu Majeed noted it has been reported on behalf of a large number of the salaf, including al-Hassan al-Basri, that they said the same thing to those who needed discipline and direction.

We are not here to massage egos. When folks get out of line it is the job of our senior scholars, see Imam Zaid's recent article on the “rock star” phenomena, and simple senior students of knowledge to correct the ignorant and ill mannered. Your statement and forgetting to say salam perhaps places you in that category as well? Thus, before you jump the gun in the future, understand that perhaps I know things that you don't know, or you have failed to take into account the many statements of our scholars regarding this point. Either way, when it comes to hassanat and meeting Allah, I will take what I can get . Students and scholars can no longer allow the ignorant to blackmail them with “Your arrogant scholars, love to me so and so on.” 17 years ago when I started to study with my sheikh and the teachers around him, I would have never talked to them the way that this new IT talib talks to those who are his/her seniors. But again, I'm probably just being an arrogant azhari right Random?

Really, Imam Suhaib Webb managed to engage with the young muslims and make them excited about Islam.

Insha Allah, I hope Imam Suhaib Webb will come again to Malaysia and appear in many our local TV shows. I saw Bro. Hamza Tzortzis on TV3 talking about Islam and God. He is also one of the speakers. We, Malaysians, never seen this type talks on morning TV shows, and especially on non-islamic TV show.

Alhamdulillah, may Allah swt rewards everyone who put their effort in all these.

1. Both hosts are non-Muslims
2. We did not know who the hosts were going to be & how they were going to be dressed. Its a live talk show that covers all sorts of issues. Its not a Islamic TV channel.
3. If you were to watch the video, I'm sure you'd notice Imam Suhaib & Bro Mohd were constantly lowering their gaze. I hope the critics were lowering their gaze as well
4. After the segment came on air, we received so many calls of people interested in attending the talks to come. It was the FIRST TIME on English live TV for Islam to be talked about openly, and what better people to represent that important moment than our two brothers? The impact this short segment had on many who watched it was powerful! In Malaysia, there is no English Islamic channel.
5. We have been invited to appear for the second time on the same show, unfortunately there isn't time to do so due to the packed speaking schedule for Imam Suhaib in KL.
6. Unlike in US & England, teenagers & young adults in Malaysia don't really attend any Islamic talks, its usually older people. The attendance by young people for our talks so far have been very encouraging, and one of the reasons for it has been because of the TV segment.

Please have some manners & stop assuming before you know the full picture.
