Asalamu alaykum,
What would you like to see on the site? How can we improve it and do you have any ideas that you would liked to see built on?

I think sheikh Suhaib Webb should have more articles for the high school age group, since he speaks to their minds and hearts in a nice way. Also it would be good to have more articles - perhaps in a series - to improve the understanding, practice, and role of Muslims in the West, esp those engaged in Islamic work so they dont lose focus, or get distracted, and be always able to detect errors and repent and improve to the better in the widest sense of the word. I know this exists but maybe having a day or two a week to cover a series with a certain plan to cover a predefined content would be good.
Sorry one more sheikh Suhaib’s reading and listening list suggestions
so we can all gather gems of wisdoms as well

Assalamu Alaykum,
Hope the kushary worked out for you
I’d always been thinking it’d be nice, if technologically possible in Egypt with your computer setup, to have a periodic audio recording, with you going over some gems of Qur’an or Hadith that you’ve studied. It’s always enlightening to come here and read the posts by yourself and different authors, but sometimes when I’m driving to school, it’d be nice to have an MP3 playing about the ayat talking about Jannah, or the Muttaqeen, or the Prophets.
Nothing long, and nothing too frequent that it becomes a burden…just something to look forward to now and then. Maybe every couple of weeks, a 20 minute recording? Imam Suhaib’s Gem Series.

AA,
I would like more article in series as someone else mentioned. Also, if you could do biography of individuals we don’t hear much about, and thus the general public would know very little about, that would be amazing as well. And by biography, I don’t mean a series of event with dates that occurred only in their lives; I also mean to include lessons which can derive from their lives. JazakAllahu Khairan for already an amazing webpage.

On a similar note, GEMs from your stay in Egypt. Using your everyday life examples and “blogging” about them, but more so in a reflective lessons learned type style.
It’d be a great refresh for us students going through the cold winters of school and work to hear about the warm stories of Cairo.

AA,
I would like to hear more about life at Al-Azhar. I haven’t been there since 1999. Additionally, more articles about “Darb Al Atrak” and other areas where the sciences are being taught. Moreover, I would like to hear about more of the shuyukh that are teaching there.

salaam alaikum Shaikh Suhaib,
I am a regular reader of your bloggings. and no, i am not a westerner. I am rather from Bangladesh. I have a desire in my heart to come to study at Azhar.
In line with that, I would like more news and happenings of Azhar in the site. perhaps more stories of how your classes are going. more about the azhari shuyookh. There seems so little information about al-Azhar in the net. So I would like to know more and more about Al-Azhar.
and akhi, how can I contact you to talk about azhar so that I can benefit from ur advice. I am sure u wont mind helping a non-western brother.
Baraakallahu feek.

Assalam Alaikum Sh. Suhaib,
The articles on your site are indeed very interesting though I think it may add more value to the learning experience if the authors could also provide a list of additional resources to look through for further reading.
Jazakallahu khairan.
